The process
Scoured and ready — even, absorbent and free of the size that would block dye from reaching the fibre.
Dosed into a controlled bath at a set liquor ratio, with the temperature curve logged so the next lot can repeat it exactly.
Any shade in the book, read against the approved standard under D65, TL84 and incandescent light before it is signed off.
Unfixed dye is rinsed clear so it cannot crock or bleed later, then the yarn is dried and rewound ready for the loom.
Yarn and fabric dyeing for cotton, lawn, cambric and blends — matched in our own lab, fixed properly, and proven on the roll before a single metre ships.
Spectrophotometer-led recipes assessed under D65, TL84 and incandescent light, so an approval holds under whichever light the buyer checks it in.
Package and hank dyeing with controlled liquor ratio and logged temperature curves for lot-to-lot repeatability.
Reactive, pigment, vat and disperse dyeing on exhaust and continuous ranges, in whole-order quantities so a set matches itself.
In-house wash, rub, light and perspiration testing to ISO methods, with a retained sample kept against every dyed lot.
Stentering, sanforising, mercerising and calendering to set the handle, the width and the residual shrinkage before dispatch.
We dye to your shade card on your own greige, with full traceability from receipt to delivery.

Leadership
Chief Executive Officer
“I build stronger supply chains, smarter sourcing systems and dependable textile operations through experience, leadership and an uncompromising eye for quality.”
Over twenty-five years in textile sourcing and operations, across five leadership roles. He set up the systems that let Pro Edge run dyeing, garments and home textiles as one accountable chain rather than three separate suppliers — which is why a comforter and the sheets beneath it come off the same dye lot.
